Originally from Colorado, Paul Foertsch began his tattoo career in Bellingham in 1999, following a lifelong interest in art, observation, and people. He spent over twenty years working at Old School Tattoo, including eight years as a co-owner, before he and his wife, Jenny, transitioned into their own private studio in June of 2021.

With more than two decades of experience, Paul’s work is grounded in technical skill, careful observation, and a deep respect for the craft of tattooing. His approach reflects a balance of precision and artistry developed through years of dedicated practice.

Outside of the studio, Paul spends his time painting, working on building projects, boating in the islands, skiing, and being with his family—interests that continue to inform and inspire his creative work.
